Diverter Units

If you are having issues with circuation on a well site, we can help you! We have a diverter system that can help you seal off your problem area and help establish circulation. Our Diverter unit has mutiple ports to hook up to water sources and a hopper for adding product to the system. Our tank has a 25 bbl. capacity and once it is full, we can keep it circulating and suspended with our pump and jets until you are ready for it.

Conventional Mixing Plants

Our conventional mixing plants are trailer mounted and have two separate tubs. One side is used for slick water with a 40 bbl. capacity and the other side is used as a sweep tank with a 25 bbl. capacity. The unit is equipped with a tote rack above the tanks for easy access to essential chemicals and the fluid is circulated by a 75 HP engine with maximum efficiency. The Hydraulic system is ran off of the engine which works the paddles in one of the compartments with a variable speed regulator.

Smart Unit Mixing Plant

The Smart Unit Mixing Plant has fully automatic controls, touch screen adjustments, and data collection systems. The Smart Unit is integral to increasing productivity and margins. The automated system aboard the unit can be operated by one person or remotely by the pump operator.

Up to 4 different chemicals can be mixed to the drilling fluid at the same time. Precise chemical mix ratios from .05 gallons to 5 gallons per 10 BBL controlled at the touch of a button, from Unit Phone, or Laptop. User friendly graphical touch screen displays pictures instead of text to control fluid hydration. Status color changes of systems can be seen on screen making it easy to visualize and understand exactly what is going on with the unit all times.

Data Collection System stores all data by the well API#. All data including changes to operator set points, sweep gel, slugs, fluid rates, chemical rates, well pressures, flow back pressures, viscosity, pH, and many other values are stored in an onboard SQL Server and will be made available to our customers via automated and fully customizable reports.

SandHawks

The SandHawk Flow Back Tank System incorporates pioneering design and leading‐edge technology for more cost‐efficient solutions for your drilling operations. Its’ environmental imprint is minimal due to the Flow Back waste handling capabilities. The SandHawk can eliminate the necessity for extensive use of frac tanks and costly vacuum truck services that are considered the norm for drilling operations.

The SandHawk carefully removes substantial amounts of abrasive or caustic materials consistent with sand, plug parts and particulate matter from process water in closed loop water supply systems.

Flowback Slurry Processes

Slurry from the well during completion operations enters the Flow Back Tank through the gas busters mounted on top of the tank. The gas busters discharge into the middle of the tank over tilted plate baffles that help to evenly distribute the solids, diminish turbulence and slow the velocity of solids to enhance settling. The solids that enter the tank settle to the bottom and are conveyed by the shaftless auger to the hydrocyclone feed pump suction at the rear of the tank.

The Hydrocyclone Feed Pump processes the slurry from the bottom and discharges it onto a linear shaker that is equipped with 200 mesh screens . The shaker processes and catches the hydrocyclone underflow discharge (approximately 200GPM) where the solids are then dewatered and conveyed towards the rear end of the tank into a catch box, container or conveyor for haul off.

Process Flow

The remaining liquids, or underflow, from the shaker dewatering process discharge into the rear of the tank and are therefore recycled through the hydrocyclones. The overflow is divided such that 95% of the hydrocyclones overflow discharges into a perforated possum belly in the front third of the tank and passes through tilted plate baffles at an equal rate from the well, typically 250 GPM, towards a 12” overflow pipe at the front of the tank. The remaining 5% diverts through two slotted pipes in the bed of the shaker to ensure minimal solids build‐up.Approximately 700 GPM of the remaining slurry (along with any sand present in the hydrocyclone overflow), cycles back through the tilted plate baffles. Sand settled in the bottom of the tank conveys back to the hydrocyclone feed pump suction by the shaftless auger for removal. The shaker underflow discharge permits for continuous recycling of fluids through the hydrocyclones and prevents contamination of the clean effluent overflow to the frac tanks.

Shaftless Auger

The VFD controlled variable speed shaftless auger located at the bottom of the Flow Back Tank is compromised primarily of half pitch flighting with a short section of full pitch near the hydrocyclone feed pump. This full pitch section reduces the height of the conveyed sand and practically eliminates suction loss occurrence in the feed pump.

Features

  • SandHawk delivers dryer solids
  • Smaller economic footprint
  • Less abrasive materials in the closed loop water systems
  • SandHawk reduces logistical support equipment
  • Water volume is reduced
